Growing chambers integrated into the building b22
Specifications: Semi-controlled rooms allowing the regulation of photoperiod (manual clocks), light intensity (max. 100 umol m-2 s-1) and temperature in a range of 17 °C to 25 °C (± 3 ° C). Two rooms are equipped with a sas, which allows the manipulation contained use of GMOs or plant pathogens.
Greenhouses
Specifications: greenhouses are glazed on two sides (roof and exterior), and the other walls are opaque. Task lighting is installed in some of them, including sodium lamps. There is no temperature control other than the radiator.
Greenhouses are used for very little research and are mainly used to keep the plants at the end of cycle and harvest the seeds. They are also home to plants used as teaching aids.
