Appears in the following schemes

General processes & autonomous pathway

Protein function

Encodes a, ortholog of the SWI/SNF ATPase family, which is involved in the genome-wide regulation of H2A.2 distribution.

Phenotype

Single mutant:
ino80 single mutant is late flowering under LD conditions and does not flower under SD conditions. [Zhang et al., 2015]

Function:
DNA helicase and probable main scaffold component of the INO80 complex which remodels chromatin by shifting nucleosomes and is involved in DNA repair. Positive regulator of homologous recombination, but not an essential component of homologous recombination. Not involved in the illegitimate repair pathway. [Data from UniProt]
